New job search engine to hit the UK
With the job market on its knees, the economy has never looked so bleak. Students coming out of university have very little to look forward to in terms of a career, people that are in jobs are being made redundant on a daily basis, and those that are lucky enough to still have a job are finding that they have to take wage decreases and have to do more hours to justify their positions.
But help is at hand and a team of experts have come up with a new search engine that specifically looks for positions that may not be advertised anywhere else.
The new search engine, that is part of Zubedjobs, launched on Wednesday (yesterday) with the emphasis on UK only jobs.
It works by recognising words that are related to certain careers within company websites, in an algorithmic fashion. In order for the search engine to find the jobs in the first place, it is given a list of data from companies’ house, which it then uses to make searches on particular terms and keywords entered.
It then displays the results in the form of location on Google maps, so you can see where the vacancy is, as well as other details.
Use of the search engine is free, as well as for people who want to post jobs for potential new employees.
As there are many others in the market, the creators of this search engine are hoping that this one will fill the holes in the market and gives users the chance to follow the career that they are after.
